Quick making at the stand

Making quick pieces at the stand, within the time limit of a song, was challenging. I found that my samples created great forms when placed anywhere on the mannequin, such as around the waist and on the shoulder. I found that there were ways to alter form completely by using asymmetry instead of symmetry, and layering up samples instead of laying them flat. This also made the 3D effect more prominent. Using other people's samples was exciting as my team and I had to work differently to find ways to combine each sample, or have the initiative to not use all of the samples at once.
This exercise made helped me to develop my ability to not only think fast, but communicate ideas well in a team. I also feel more experimental wth my ideas and less precious over older ones.
