I decided to work towards my final piece and create a prop sword for a game using Autodesk Maya. The process began with me researching swords that included animal features in their designs. I then created some design drawings and produced a final design idea before translating it to a Maya project.
I spent around 5 hours producing the final 3D rendered model, and I liked the final outcome. Myself and peers felt that the model did appear to be influenced by the shape of a bird's head, and that the sword could be pictured in a game.

I also had the chance to create a file on illustrator to be laser cut. To test it I created a cardboard cube. I had made some error as parts that weren't supposed to be cut were cut out by accident, however I know how to improve the file if I were to re-cut the cube.
