Photography crit

For Wednesday we had to produce a series of 6 images relating to the words 'Happy, Sad, Jump, Crush, Fall, Echo'. The images below are the ones that I felt represented these words in my everyday life. For this mini project I thought about using depth of field, smart composition with rule of thirds, texture, colour and drawing with light. To improve my photos, I could be clearer with my focus, for example, in my 'Fall' photo it is difficult to spot the falling rain, which I was trying to capture. However, the elements which I most liked about my photo series was the shallow depth of field for 'Jump', which shows my figurines on my shelves frozen in a jumping position, and the use of light in my 'Happy' photo.
